Can faster first responders save more lives from sudden cardiac arrest?
NCT ID NCT07323667
Summary
This study looks at whether a new system that sends trained first responders (like firefighters or police) to heart attack emergencies before an ambulance arrives helps more people survive. Researchers will compare about 250 cases from before and after the system started in one Swiss region. They want to see if getting help faster leads to more people's hearts restarting and reaching the hospital alive.
