Scientists test first 'Living' heart valve designed to grow inside the body
NCT ID NCT05809856
Summary
This is a first-in-human safety study for a new type of heart valve replacement. It tests a valve made from a patient's own tissue, designed to be more durable and potentially adapt over time. The study will enroll 7 adults with a severely leaky pulmonary valve to see if the implant is safe and works in the short term.
