New study tests online tool to prevent firearm accidents at home

Summary
This study tests whether a website called the Family Safety Check-In can help families with children store their firearms more safely. About 548 parents or guardians who have guns at home and currently store them unsafely will be randomly assigned to use the website or not. The goal is to see if the tool leads to safer storage practices and better peace of mind.
