Summary
This study used MRI scans to see how fingertips change shape when pressed or rubbed. Eight healthy adults had their index fingers scanned while light forces were applied. The goal was to collect data to create realistic computer models of the finger, which could help improve how robots or prosthetic hands grip objects.
