Summary
This study is testing whether a medication called finerenone can help slow the worsening of kidney function and reduce the risk of heart failure in adults with diabetic kidney disease. It will involve about 120 participants who have type 2 diabetes and early to moderate kidney problems. The goal is to see if adding this drug to their current care provides better protection for both their kidneys and heart.
