Summary
This study will test if the medication finerenone can slow the worsening of kidney function and lower the risk of heart failure in adults with diabetic kidney disease. It will involve 120 participants who have type 2 diabetes and early to moderate kidney problems. The goal is to see if adding this drug to standard care provides better protection for both the kidneys and the heart.
