New drug could offer better pain relief for fibromyalgia sufferers

Summary
This study compares two medications, pregabalin and a newer drug called crisugabalin, to see which works better for fibromyalgia pain. Fibromyalgia causes widespread pain, fatigue, and emotional distress. The trial will include 1,116 adults with moderate to severe pain who haven't tried these drugs before. The goal is to find a more effective and safer treatment option.
