Summary
This study aimed to understand how certain immune system proteins (autoantibodies) relate to fibromyalgia symptoms. Researchers compared 164 female participants—fibromyalgia patients with high or low antibody levels and healthy controls—using blood tests, skin samples, and brain scans. The goal was to see if antibody levels connect to pain severity, inflammation, and changes in brain function.
