Can a simple snack bar tame the tummy troubles from popular weight loss drugs?

NCT ID NCT07012317

Summary

This study aimed to see if eating snack bars with added fiber could help reduce common stomach side effects, like nausea and bloating, in people taking GLP-1 weight loss medications. Fifty adults already using these medications tried different snack bars for one week each and reported their symptoms. Researchers compared how three fiber-containing bars affected symptoms versus a control bar with no added fiber.
