First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study is testing whether giving fresh frozen plasma (FFP) along with standard care is safe and helps people recover from moderate to severe traumatic brain injury. About 357 adults aged 18 to 65 will be randomly assigned to receive either standard care alone or standard care plus two units of FFP. Researchers will compare outcomes like brain function, time in the ICU, and survival over six months.
