First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study tested a new version of the allergy drug fexofenadine (Allegra) to see how well it is absorbed when taken with or without water, compared to the current coated tablet taken with water. Twenty-five healthy adults each received six different treatments in random order under fasting conditions. The goal was to measure drug levels in the blood to understand if the new formulation works similarly to the standard one.
