Summary
This study tests whether fexofenadine hydrochloride, a common allergy medication, can improve long-term outcomes for people who have recently had a heart attack. About 2,800 participants will receive either the drug or a placebo and be followed for 24 months. The goal is to see if the drug reduces the risk of death, another heart attack, stroke, or heart failure.
