Summary
This study tested whether a special PET scan called FES PET/CT can accurately detect breast cancer that has spread to lymph nodes under the arm. It involved 71 adults with estrogen-positive breast cancer who were suspected of having lymph node involvement. The goal was to see if this imaging method could replace or reduce the need for surgical biopsies.
