First seen Apr 23, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a daily capsule made from fermented fruits and vegetables (Rutazyme® lemon fermented product) can help improve metabolic health in adults with obesity. Forty adults aged 18 to 65 with a BMI of 27 or higher will take either the active capsule or a placebo for 12 weeks. Researchers will measure changes in body fat, waist and hip size, blood sugar, insulin, and other health markers to see if the supplement is safe and effective.
