First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study looks at the long-term safety of adding fenofibrate to standard ursodeoxycholic acid treatment for people with primary biliary cholangitis (PBC), a chronic liver disease. About 300 adults who have already completed a prior fenofibrate study will take the combination and be monitored for side effects and outcomes like liver function and need for transplant. The goal is to see if this combination is safe enough to help control the disease over time.
