Summary

This study looked at whether fenofibrate, a drug usually used for high cholesterol, can reduce inflammation and improve symptoms in people with mild to moderate ulcerative colitis. Sixty adults took part. The main goal was to see if the drug improved disease activity and quality of life, and to measure changes in certain blood markers of inflammation.
