First seen Mar 25, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study looks at how natural changes in estrogen and progesterone during the menstrual cycle affect how ready women feel to exercise, how hard exercise seems, and how their bodies recover afterward. Researchers will measure perceived readiness, difficulty, muscle soreness, and inflammatory markers in 30 healthy women aged 18-35 who are not on hormonal birth control. The goal is to better understand the role of sex hormones in exercise response.
