First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This pilot study tested whether the Feldenkrais Method, a gentle movement and awareness practice, could reduce stress and improve well-being in 24 healthy, sedentary women aged 26-59. Participants did eight daily 90-minute sessions or were in a control group. Researchers measured heart rate, body water, stress markers, and psychological well-being before and after the program.
