Smart pill aims to predict which constipation therapy will work

Summary
This study is testing a new device called Fecobionics to better understand a common cause of constipation called pelvic floor dyssynergia. Researchers will use the small, balloon-like device to measure pressures and movements in the rectum and anus of 24 participants before and during biofeedback therapy. The goal is to see if the device's readings can predict which patients will benefit from the therapy before they start treatment.
