Summary
This study tested whether a smartphone algorithm could automatically control insulin delivery using a continuous glucose monitor and an insulin pump in adults with type 1 diabetes. Only one person enrolled before the study was stopped early. The goal was to see if the system could keep blood sugar in a healthy range without causing dangerously low levels.
