New MRI-like method tracks fat from plate to bloodstream
NCT ID NCT04156503
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tested a new way to measure fats in the blood after a meal using a technique called NMR spectroscopy. 14 healthy adults ate a test meal, and researchers collected blood samples to see how different fat types were absorbed. The goal was to improve methods for studying fat digestion, not to treat any disease.
