First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study tested a new way to measure different types of fat in the blood after eating. Fourteen healthy adults ate a test meal, and researchers collected blood samples to see how the fats were broken down. The goal was to see if a special MRI technique (NMR) could accurately measure these fats. This was a pilot study to gather information, not to treat any disease.
