First seen May 02, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study examined 53 stroke survivors to see how fatigue impacts their quality of life. Researchers measured fatigue severity and health-related quality of life using standard questionnaires. The results showed that fatigue is a strong, independent predictor of poorer quality of life after a stroke. This was an observational study, meaning no treatment was given—it simply gathered information to better understand the link between fatigue and well-being.
