Is fatigue all in the brain? new study on cerebral palsy
NCT ID NCT07059702
First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study looks at why people with cerebral palsy often feel very tired. Researchers think this fatigue might come from the brain, not just weak muscles. They will use brain scans (EEG and PET) on 50 adults to find the brain areas linked to fatigue. The goal is to improve treatments and make fatigue a separate target for therapy.
