Summary
This small study looked at whether a 5-day fasting-mimicking diet (a special low-calorie meal plan) is practical for Asian Americans with prediabetes. Thirty participants tried one cycle of the diet and had their blood sugar and physical measurements checked before and after. The goal was to see if people would stick with it and if it could lower blood sugar levels.
