Race to walk: new device aims for quicker recovery after heart treatment
NCT ID NCT07414121
Summary
This study is testing two different ways to stop bleeding at the leg after a heart procedure for atrial fibrillation. Researchers want to see if using a special closure device helps patients get up and walk sooner compared to the standard method of manual pressure and a stitch. The study will also check the safety and effectiveness of the new device in 100 participants.
