New device aims to get heart patients walking faster after surgery
NCT ID NCT07414121
Summary
This study compares two methods to stop bleeding after a heart procedure for atrial fibrillation. Researchers want to see if a special closure device helps patients walk sooner than traditional manual pressure and stitches. The trial involves 100 patients and will track recovery time and safety issues during the first month after the procedure.
