New fast MRI aims to catch arthritis before It's too late

NCT ID NCT04536103

Summary

This study aims to develop faster, more reliable MRI scans to detect early signs of knee arthritis and cartilage damage. Researchers are testing new scanning methods on different MRI machines to create a standardized tool for spotting problems before symptoms appear. The study will involve 88 volunteers, including healthy people and those who have recently torn their ACL (a knee ligament injury that often leads to arthritis).
