New fast MRI aims to spot arthritis before It's too late

NCT ID NCT04536103

Summary

This study aims to develop faster, more reliable MRI scans to detect early cartilage damage and arthritis. Researchers will test these new scanning methods on healthy volunteers and people who recently tore their ACL, a group at high risk for developing arthritis. The goal is to create a standardized tool that can spot joint problems much earlier than current X-rays and exams, which often only find late-stage disease.
