First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study tested whether including family members in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) helps veterans with anxiety disorders. 48 veterans and their family members took part in a new program called AF-CBT. The goal was to see if the program was acceptable and practical, not to cure the condition. Results will guide future research on family involvement in anxiety treatment.
