First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 37 times

Summary

This study tested a special microscope called Cellvizio® to look at the fallopian tubes during keyhole surgery. The goal was to see if it could find early, pre-cancerous changes that might lead to ovarian cancer. 40 women having their fallopian tubes removed for various reasons took part. The researchers compared the microscope images with standard lab tests to see if the new method works well.
