First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 35 times

Summary

This study tested a special microscope called Cellvizio that lets doctors see inside the fallopian tubes during surgery. The goal was to find early, precancerous changes that might lead to ovarian cancer. 40 women having their fallopian tubes removed for various reasons took part. Researchers compared the microscope images with lab results to see if this tool could help catch cancer earlier.
