Eye tissue thickness measured in common vision conditions

Summary
This study measured the thickness of the conjunctiva and Tenon's capsule (layers on the front of the eye) in 736 people with wet age-related macular degeneration or diabetic macular edema, as well as in healthy adults of similar age. Researchers used a special eye scanner (SD-OCT) to take these measurements. The goal was to better understand how these eye layers differ between healthy eyes and those with these vision-threatening conditions.
