NCT ID NCT06717282
Summary
This study tested a special training program designed to help children and teenagers with autism or other developmental disabilities cooperate better during eye exams. Twenty participants attended six one-on-one sessions with a therapist to practice exam procedures using games, rewards, and simulated clinic settings. Researchers measured whether this approach improved the children's comfort and cooperation during actual vision check-ups.
