Simple eye drop could prevent painful eyelash regrowth after surgery
NCT ID NCT04149210
Summary
This study tested whether adding a steroid eye drop (fluorometholone) for four weeks after surgery for a painful eyelid condition could improve results. The surgery fixes eyelashes that grow inward and scratch the eye. Researchers wanted to see if the eye drop could reduce swelling after surgery, which might lower the chance of the problem coming back.
