New tool helps caregivers spot eye problems in adults with intellectual disability

Summary

This study aims to create and test a simple scale that caregivers can use to spot common eye problems in adults with intellectual disability. Currently, no such tool exists, leading to delayed diagnosis. Researchers will work with 1,400 caregivers and adults with intellectual disability to develop and validate the scale.
