First seen Feb 22, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study measures the temperature of air that intubated patients breathe out. The goal is to use that data to better test and improve humidifiers, which keep patients' airways moist and safe. About 70 adults on breathing machines in the ICU will take part. The research does not involve any new treatment, only careful measurement.
