Breath thermometer study aims to prevent deadly tube blockages

Summary
This study will measure the temperature of air that intubated patients breathe out. The goal is to better understand how much moisture is in their breath, which can help prevent dangerous blockages in the breathing tube. Researchers will include 70 adults in the intensive care unit who are on a breathing machine with a passive humidifier.
