New hope for pancreatic cancer: combination therapy targets limited spread

NCT ID NCT06593431

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study tests whether using multiple treatments together (like surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy) can help people with pancreatic cancer that has spread to only a few places in the body live longer and keep the cancer from growing. About 80 adults with this type of cancer will be randomly assigned to receive either standard care or the multi-treatment approach. The goal is to see if the combination therapy is safe and works better at controlling the disease.
