NCT ID NCT05835271

First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study tests whether a powered exoskeleton that assists the hips can help people with very severe chronic lung disease walk longer and farther. The device reduces the energy needed for walking, which is often a major challenge for these patients. Researchers will compare walking endurance with and without the exoskeleton in 12 participants. The goal is to see if this technology can improve daily mobility and quality of life.
