First seen Jan 02, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study looked at whether people with chronic lung disease who experience drops in oxygen during exercise can walk just as far without using supplemental oxygen as they can with it. Forty adults with stable lung disease completed a 6-minute walk test both with and without nasal oxygen. The goal was to see if skipping oxygen is a reasonable option for these patients during everyday activity.
