First seen Apr 28, 2026 · Last updated Jun 22, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study compared two types of nerve blocks (EXORA and QLB) to see which provides better pain relief after laparoscopic gallbladder removal. Eighty adults received one of the two blocks using the numbing medicine bupivacaine. Researchers measured how long until patients needed extra pain medicine and how much they used overall.
