First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study compared 8 weeks of playing an active video game (ExerCube) to moderate-intensity endurance exercise in 43 healthy adults. Both groups trained three times per week. The goal was to see if the game improved fitness and blood pressure similarly to standard exercise. Results help show whether fun, game-based workouts can be a practical alternative for staying active.
