Scientists test if your workout can fight the damage of lost sleep
NCT ID NCT07403864
Summary
This study aims to understand if people who exercise regularly are better protected from the negative health effects of a short night's sleep. Researchers will compare how sleep deprivation affects blood sugar control, blood vessel health, and thinking skills in three groups: sedentary adults, regular runners/cyclists, and regular weightlifters. The goal is to gather knowledge that could help design better exercise advice for people who don't get enough sleep.
