Can a bike ride and talk therapy break the cycle of pain and addiction?

NCT ID NCT04736550

Summary

This small pilot study tested whether adding exercise and pain-focused talk therapy to standard residential drug treatment is practical and helpful for adults with opioid addiction and chronic pain. Researchers wanted to see if participants could stick with the program and if it might reduce pain, drug cravings, and other symptoms. The goal was to gather information to design a larger future study.
