First seen Jan 24, 2026 · Last updated Jun 17, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study looks at whether adding less sitting time to regular exercise can improve heart and metabolic health more than exercise alone. About 30 adults with desk jobs who sit over 9 hours a day will either exercise only or exercise and reduce sitting. Researchers will measure blood sugar, insulin, and other health markers over 8 weeks.
