Can a fitness and diet plan before chemo ease cancer treatment?
NCT ID NCT07467824
Summary
This study is testing whether a program of supervised exercise and personalized nutrition, started right after a breast cancer diagnosis and continued through treatment, can help women better tolerate their cancer therapies. Researchers want to see if this 'prehabilitation' approach reduces common side effects, improves physical fitness and strength, and enhances overall quality of life. The study will involve 66 women in Spain who are newly diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer.
