Can home workouts and bright lights heal brain injury symptoms?
NCT ID NCT01175993
Summary
This study tested whether two simple home therapies could help adults recover from traumatic brain injuries. Researchers compared a 3-month exercise program using an elliptical machine with a 3-month bright light therapy program to see if they improved movement, balance, thinking, and mood. The study involved 34 adults with brain injuries and healthy volunteers, measuring changes through physical tests, brain scans, and questionnaires.
