Summary
This study looked at how different exercise intensities affect a brain chemical called BDNF, which helps brain cells grow and stay healthy. Twelve healthy adults aged 18-25 did three types of exercise: high-intensity intervals, moderate continuous running, and light continuous running. Researchers measured BDNF and lactate levels before and after each session to find which exercise caused the biggest increase.
