Summary
This study tested whether a 4-week program of group exercise, walking, and education could help elderly nursing home residents. Researchers wanted to see if these activities could reduce symptoms of depression and anxiety, improve quality of life, and increase spinal mobility. The program involved supervised group sessions three times a week, plus a one-time educational session on safe daily movements.
